Hey- maybe god was the supreme intelligence that we evolved towards a billion years from now, who learned how to time travel and started the universe which led to the creation of himself?

I guess it all depends on whether you think God is simple or complex. Most theologians have argued for the simplicity of God, which would make God our origin.
