you're thoroughly perfect once you describe this as a capacity warfare, because thats what it really is. She must be independant, yet for sure she is two so she will only accomplish that a lot on her personal. the only element that i will recommend is that you try to provide her alternatives whenever you could (yet not too many alternatives, because then you fairly will be sitting there all day even as she makes a decision). it really is what we did with my daughter and it appeared to help if she theory something develop into her theory. as an celebration: she doesnt favor you to get her dressed? perchance it may help if she chooses what she wears. We began with laying out 2 outfits and letting her go with. through the time she develop into about 2 and a nil.5, she develop into usually waiting to gown herself, it really is what she wanted to do all alongside. Now, she merely grew to develop into 3, all of her outfits are setting up her closet interior of her attain and are putting as outfits, so each morning she possibilities her personal outfits and it makes her very pleased. also, at dinner even as she doesnt opt to sit down perchance she might want to opt to go back to a decision her personal seat. Now i comprehend this is a soreness because you ought to bypass the booster seat round, yet in my eyes it really is extra efficient than handling a mood tantrum. the only imagine with this frame of mind is that you'll be able to should be prepared in some unspecified time sooner or later to coach her that when she chooses she cant change her thoughts backward and forward, because even as she is in a position to insurrection back, that could want to be what she tries to do. solid success with this. I remember mumbling "This too shall bypass" less than my breath probable a dozen circumstances an afternoon in this section!! lol Oh, also as demanding because it really is attempt to stay calm and dont allow her comprehend that she is frightening you. dissimilar circumstances once toddlers see that they can't get to you, they're going to provide up.

My daughter at one, just starting to cruise, would bang her head on things when she wasn't looking. She'd look like she was about to cry, but instead of worrying her more about it, we'd laugh and say out loud "Bonk!". For a while after that, she thought it was funny to "bonk" her head on purpose.
If he's not hurting himself, or giving himself serious bruises on his head, I wouldn't worry much about it. I think it's a stage they get over pretty quickly. Don't fuss over it, because the more reaction they get from it, the more they do it to get the same reaction over and over again.
Hope that helps.

My son did the same thing at that age. When I asked my pediatrician about it, he said that as long as he is not doing it to the point of causing pain or drawing blood, it is fine. It is just a way to get attention. If he does cause pain or draw blood, you should have his doctor see him, because he could have a larger problem.

He may have an ear infection, ringing in the ears or a sinus problem this is a very common response when a small child feels an irritation in their "face/head" they can't communicate accurately what the issue is so they try to resolve it themselves. Please have the child looked at for a possible irritant before thy can injure themselves.

I would guess he's doing it for attention assuming every time you catch him you go a little nuts. Try not to react to it and maybe he'll get past it. Kids do the weirdest things and grow out of it. My nephew likes to gag himself he's turning 2.

Have his hearing evaluated. This could be a sign of ear infection, or loss of hearing. There are other reasons for it as well. Read more about it here:

It might be due to neglect and subsequently a cry for attention. Also (i know it sounds odd) but it could be self comforting to an extent.
