My friend Herald said that we were going to take a road trip to England. I live in Mexico so how is that possible? Is there an interstate over the water? Please help me out! Give me some insight on mine and Herald's honeymoon.

I'm sure he meant he was going to fly to England, rent a car and drive around the country. Or he was pulling your leg!

I really do think that he meant the roadtrip was going to be IN England. Like everyone else has said - you can't drive to England from Mexico! But of course, none of us here heard the actual conversation, so we don't really know. Like someone else mentioned: he also could have meant NEW England here in the States.
But: Europe in general is a GREAT place for roadtrips! As long as you have a passport, you can drive from one country right into the next. It's a blast. If your friend Herald was serious, I would think this is what he's planning. (If not, suggest it! *lol*) Why don't you just ask him what he meant??

As far as I know, there is no interstate over the Atlantic Ocean. There are no underground tunnels, either.

Hopefully, your friend, Herald, is pulling your leg.

Either way, I wouldn't get into a car with him if he says he is driving to England.

Herald is evidently suffering some kind of illness. There is absoloutely no way to get to England from Mexico driving.

Is this a joke? No, there isn't a interstate over the ocean. You would have to fly to get to England if you're in Mexico...

Are you sure he said England, and not New England? He could easily drive to New England.

As to driving to England, if a group has it's way, they want to build a tunnel from Alaska to Russia, past the Diomede Islands, like the Channel Tunnel from the UK to France. Pretty high price tag, and Russian politics being what they are, pretty doubtful.

that would only be possible with the use of an amphibian car or you could drive the car on the ship... but seriously who would want to drive across the ocean in a itty bitty car??♥

Don't you think that possibly, *just possibly*, he was using the term "road trip" in a generic and not specific sense?

Theoretically it is possible to drive over the ice covered arctic. Not probable.
