Fish is a good source of protein and, unlike fatty meat products, it’s not high in saturated fat. It’s also a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which benefit heart health. The American Heart Association recommends eating fish at least twice a week. However, some types of fish may contain high levels of mercury... Salmon has a very low amount of mercury, as does flounder, and catfish. Tuna has a moderate amount of mercury. Grouper, Halibut, and Swordfish have quite a bit of mercury in comparison. So really it looks like the older and bigger fish have the highest mercury levels, which makes sense.

No, I don't think you should because lately on TV they have been saying that the mercury and lead content is really high. However, I think it is okay to eat it about 3 times a week. Just be careful where you get your fish. You should supplement with fish oils also known as Omega 3, 6 and 9. Also Cod Liver Oil.

Fish has a lot of iron and Omega 3 which is cancer fighting. So yes, well maybe not EVERY day, but 2-4 times a week yes.

Definitely ok to eat fish frequently, as long as you are choosing healthy fishes with a low mercury content. Some tunas, swordfish, mahi mahi, tile fish etc contain a ton of mercury and it is wise to limit your intake of those types. You can serch online for guidelines and charts on mercury levels in different types of seafood!

Fish is healthy, you will get your omega 3 from it, if it is oily fish especially, and it is brain food, but apart from becoming bored with having it everyday you must not over do it either, try different things in between... variety is always the spice of life.

Yes, it is. I think it is the main reason I stay around 110 pounds. Its a good source of protein and good Omega 3 fatty acids (in the right kind of fish, etc). My cholesterol TOTAL is 109, LDL 47, HDL 53, VDL 9. All great #'s.

I've not heard it's unhealthy to do so. You can do some research online re: the specific fish you eat.
Definitely healthier than red meat, although I do dig red meat. LOL!
