They haven't matured enough to understand that driving you crazy isn't fun for everyone. When they get older they will realise that you find it annoying, probably around the same time that they realise that they find that kind of childish behaviour annoying. Just be patient with them. They will grow up in due time.

Have you ever smiled at them and taken any interest. Try reading them a story, little children thrive on attention. If they cant get it for being good,,they will be bad! You are older and you could be a much loved older cousin if you give a little time to these little children. They probably sense you do not care for them and so drive you crazy!

they are kids, theyre doing what kids do, they arent intentionally trying to annoy you. and how rude for a specific person to say annoying children are a result of bad parenting, and how you raised your children to behave, gosh did your kids get to have any fun at all or were they boring little poindexters? theyre little, they like to have fun and run around, and instead of ignoring them, play with them, once they have someones attention, they tend to calm down a little because someone is playing WITH them, just remember...you were once an annoying little brat too:)

It sounds like it is not the children that have the problem! Kids are kids, what do you expect for them to sit there like good little puppies and not move! Get real!

Probably because they have not been bropught up properly. Noisyu children are totally the product of bad parenting. My children have not ever behaved badly in public. At home that is different. And don't try to make opsc (other peoples children) behave as more likely than not the parents will have a go at you. Avoid noisy brats and if they are members of your family don't be afraid to tell the little ***** to get off the sofa, out of the fridge, stop writing on the walls. And if their behaviour remains bad then avoid your relatives company where the childern are present.

little children arent annoying on purpose... they are children. they do things that all children love to do... play, learn and aggravate alittle. maybe u would relate to them more if u spent time doing things with them that they like to do... im not an expert or anything but i have a 3yr old son, 4yr old sister in law, as well as 6 and 9 yr old sisters.

It sounds like they are just being kids. You must have been that way too. We all were. Try talking to them, play a game. Ask them questions about themselves. Tell them about yourself. Buy some Bubbles and let them chase them. Take a walk with them and look for cool things like flowers, bugs or what ever. Share something you like with them. In no time you will be friends. Good luck.

Richard's answer made me laugh out loud. They're not annoying, they are trainee adults who are learning something new every day & need lots of attention & stimulation.Enjoy them while they're young. The time passes so quickly & before you know it they're grown up.

They do it because they can. My 4-year-old loves to annoy people that he knows he can get to. He follows me around pretending to be my shadow and he loves to repeat everything his brothers say.
