Hometown sub shops are so much better....
Place back home called Westover, a little country gas station that serves the best ever!

Publix Chicken Tender Sub

It all sounds great! It's very casual and family-like, but still a good meal. It'll make for a comfortable environment. I'd go with the deviled eggs over potato salad, since more people seem to like them. Also, if you have extra cash you should get a small chocolate fountain to go with the fruit platter. It's not too costly if you get a small one, and it was a BLAST at my uncle's wedding! You can get decent ones that would work fine for about $40, and just think - it's a present you'll have after the wedding that's very yummy! Edit - If your mom and grandma are wanting to make them, then definitely go with both! You can never have too much food at a wedding! Hun, you're completely set with planning the food! =] Edit 2 - If you are looking for more ideas for more food dishes (not that you need any!), then maybe have a mexican dip with chips. Those are very good!

I love Publix subs. Boar's Head all the way! Yummy! And I could eat one every day, but I don't think it nutritionists would agree, with all the sodium lunch meats have! But man, are they gooood!

Subway, Quizno's--they wish they could match a Publix sub!

OMG I love Publix subways. I actually just got turned on to a sub from them from my girlfriend. It is a chicken tender sub and you put what ever you like on it. I usually get a chicken finger sub and they sut the chicken up into little pieces and then I get lettuce, pickles, black olives, salt, pepper and mayo. It is so good! Maybe I will get one for dinner tonight

Oh, I'm afraid I have to disagree! There's a restaurant chain in the midwest called Donato's. Their Big Don Sausage Italian sub is THE best I've ever eaten...period.

I agree with you, but I would like any place that would make any sub right infront of you so you know what kinds of ingredients they actually use instead of the pre-made stuff.
