Just make sure that is legal where you live. In some states they are considered game fish and are not allowed to be used as bait.

Well check your states regulations but Yes in most states as long as they are not castnetted they are legal. I carry a small pole to catch my bait fish

NO! under no circumstances take a wild animal out of its habitat. Fish are exceptionally tender to environmental adjustments, and is merely not waiting to address domesticated residing. this will also endanger the different fish residing contained in the tank now.
