Well poised question.
Consider Jesus went to the desert and fasted 40 days
and 40 nights. This provokes the notion that maybe he
'plumped up' first.
Jesus, however was miraculous - to believers.
Sceptics might think otherwise.
Even Jesus' disciples wondered why he didn’t eat.
‘Master, eat’ to which he responded ‘I have food to eat
which you do not know.’ (Maybe he hid raisins)
‘No one brought Him anything to eat?’
Jesus said ‘My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me
and to finish His work’ (John 4:31-34)
One wonders if he even ate at the Last Supper. Serving
your own body (bread) and blood (wine) metaphorically
(and literally?) says it all. He served and was served.
To be a sloth or a glutton was to be Roman (or a fattened
priest maybe). Jesus was a working man and an ascetic.
Anorexic to sceptics maybe.
Could Orson Welles have played Jesus? Not unless he
did a DeNiro. Buddha more likely.
P.S. The bearded, fat religious leaders in the paintings are
the guys who wanted to kill Jesus for NOT eating!
:)

The Jerusalem religious leaders never left their area, while Jesus walked all over the place. One mathematician calculated it, to walking over 15,000 miles. He also ate healthy.
1. Walked regularly.
2. Ate fish and unleaven bread (low calories) but very healthy.
3. Drank non-fermented wine (grape juice). Good for the heart.
CONCLUSION:
He ate healthy, and exercised regularly. He is more fit than me!

I doubt it. He ate a lot of fish and fasted. If he could walk on water then I doubt he could have been overweight. And as one of the other answers said, he was a humble carpenter - the poor tend to eat less and be skinnier. It takes money and McDonald's to get fat.

It's possible, but unlikely.
Having to walk everywhere, and given the topography of Israel, it's doubtful that Jesus was fat.

Since the bible doesn't give a physical description of him, all I could add is idle speculation. However, he did seem to get a lot of exercise going from town to town, usually walking.

Probably not, Jesus was poor and probably didn't have a ton of fig newtons to munch on at 2am.

impossible. this would mean Jesus would have committed the sin of gluttony, and he was sinless, therefore he was probably of average body fat if not skinnier
