Facts: Male, 60-65 (64 I think), Caucasian, very demanding work habits.
Revealings: X-rays and MRI's revealed somesort of cyst between the L4 and L5 region, which is believed to be caused by CSF (cerebral spinal fluid) leakage. Pain in right leg and lower back, pain medicine not working ( Tramadol, Viking, etc). Pain has reached the point of where it hurts to lift arms over head and to stand for long periods of time. His doctor set up to talk to a surgeon but the earliest date was in Late May. Also note that he has had two injections that temporialy worked (first one a couple of days, second one about a week). Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for help such as, herbs, home remedies, names of good surgeons, tips and just plain out good advice. The doctor has given him the run around for about 5 months now.
Thanks,
Brian G.

The shots were not in a series of three, he was told that he would only need one shot and then later on the doctor called us to ask if he would be willing to take one more shot to see if the second one would help.
