Before I got pregnant I had a really small frame. When I was pregnant I was all belly. Now I have gotten my shape back I am left with minor stretch marks on both sides of my lower abdomen. They are hardly noticeable, but if I could get rid of them that would be even better.

If you had used palmers cocoa butter from the start of the pregnancy the strech marks would not be so bad, but I am sorry to say they are permanent unless you have the money for a tummy tuck or abdominalplasty. You could use a sunless tanning lotion in the cracks not the raised areas to darken the lines so they match your natural skin color or seem to be less noticeable. I have pale skin so this wont help me like it did my friend. She tried everything untill she came across this idea.
Strivectin really does not work and it is expensive.
If you do decide to go out and buy expensive products check the labels and look up the ingredients on the web. Not all ingredients are made to remove the stretch marks because the company wanted the money sooner than later.
Be aware however that the FDA has not approved any products to treat stretch marks as it is not important to the government, stretch marks are like herbal remedies. No one knows if they work or not. And unless someone can prove to you that theirs disapeared completely, you can not trust anyones claims unless they have proof.
You are most likely going to keep these, the skin never fully heals. It is so the next time you have a baby you wont need to stretch as much. I am on my 5th and let me tell you my marks were less stretched than the first time I was pregnant.

Get rid of Stretch Marks?

There are no products that will get rid of stretch marks, however, there are great ways to help fade them and smooth them out. Like Mary Kay's new Cellu-Shape Contouring System...it smooths cellulite out and makes it a lot less noticable....I use this on my stomach...I have terrible stretch marks...and even my doctor made a comment that they looked smoother and less noticeable...My husband thinks so too...it is a great product...you should try it..

I have massive war scars all over my abdomen from carrying twins full term. I had a small frame and just about popped with those two! 14 years later I still can't get rid of them unless I get a tummy tuck.

Pregnancy, rapid weight gain or loss and puberty, are the usual causes of stretch marks. Almost half of all expectant women and many teenagers will acquire this condition

Depending on your skin color, the marks start out as pink, reddish brown, or dark brown streaks. Lots of products and honey they all promise. Marks will fade a bit and shrink, but they never go away, your skin was traumatized.

I heard mederma works the best, you can use vitamin E capsules, just break them open and use them, or if you know someone from Mary K they have this cellulite cream that takes them away pretty quick too, loosing the weight and time helps to.
