The Catholic faith has a well documented history of organized evil that must never be forgotten. Numerous human cultures and faiths were exterminated by the Catholic Church. Millions of human beings were cruelly tortured and systematically executed because of Catholic intolerance. Scholars such as Galileo, Descartes, Newton, and others lived in fear that the Catholics might discover they were actually thinking for themselves. Unlike animals, most pregnant women require assistance to deliver their babies. This didn't stop the Catholic Church from declaring war on midwifery and eliminating the only source of medical care available to Europeans of both sexes during the Dark Ages of Catholic domination. The Catholic Church compiled lists of persons with Jewish blood in WWII Germany and sold the lists to the Nazis, condemning millions to a horrible death in Hitler's gas chambers. In our time, pedophile Catholic priests are known to molest children while preparing their souls for salvation. What could be more twisted and perverse?
As for modern Catholics, having freely chosen to align themselves with the greatest source of organized evil ever to curse human civilization, they deserve every bit of scorn I can muster.

I was a Catholic and even after I got out of the fold, I never thought of you Catholics as inhumans. In fact, I love you more than I ever did. I am just so sorry that I see you now differently from how I saw myself with you before. I have opened my eyes and I have been wishing you too must have.
If you firmly believe however, that you are holding on to the truth as you know it, then stick with it. All I will ask of you is to live righteously according to the teachings of God our creator. Stay away from wicked ways of making a living no matter how prosperously it had made you. That kind of blessing is not permanent. Being the Oldest Christian church is not the true measure of knowing the truth. That can also apply for being the first to the greatest deception ever done. Think well why people are so divided and what Jesus said about his coming, "Do you think that I have come to bring peace? No, I have come to bring division."
Think well what Jesus have warned his disciple about the deceivers, "Watch out that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name (Jesus) and will say that I am he (Christ). do not follow them." Matthew, Mark and Luke have written those. Read the Bible. over and over. Have wisdom and strive to have understanding.

Hi you have to look back to the origins of the reformation for this answer,Luther indeed had a genuine grievance regarding the selling of indulgences but lost patience with the Pope because he was put on hold for too long a time, the German Princes gave Luther the muscle he needed because they wanted the power of the church for themselves, Henry the eighth also wanted his own way in his sordid relationships and decided to disobey the commandment not to commit adultry, Calvin was a Priest hater and and lost no time in picking up were these left off, so all this was born from rebellion and pride, all sorts of stupid teachings have become the standard today, the Pope is an antiChrist, the Bishops are not the successors of the Apostles and on it goes ad infinitum,ad nauseum.
The thing is this just how many bodies did Christ have, and can His body be divided? this is heresy, the actual reality is that there is still one church and this is the one Catholic and Apostolic church founded on Peter and wether they like it or not all denominations belong to this one church.
Here is just a few of the silly things that I have been challenged with,Jesus did not mean Peter at all but He actually pointed to a rock beside Him and this was were His church was to be built??
Another one is this,Well you Catholics were the first but because you all sinned Christ has taken the church and given it to us instead???
I could fill a large book with this type of rubbish if I had to, but the bottom line is this, they are so sanctimonious that for them to be comfortable and right we have to be wrong.

The Orthidox Christian church would dispute your claim to be the oldest.
It's an old remnant of the Reformation, really. The Catholic Church had been incredibly corrupt at the time, so naturally when the Protestants split off they harbored a lot of resentment. Hate has a nasty tendency to be passed from one generation to another easier than love does. So now the Protestants are stuck with all kinds of anti-Catholic rhetoric that frequently has little basis in fact.
I have listened to Protestants make the most outrageous claims about the RCC, up to and including human sacrifice (I kid you not). Mangled versions of RCC rituals and dogma are passed around like cookies at a party. Jack Chick is one of the worse haters, and his garbage gets passed around faster than the rest of his babbling nonsense.
Honestly, does it surprise you that so many people fail to live up to the ideals they claim to hold? Why should they? According to them, all their sins are forgiven when they get "born again" so why should they change anything?

I am a Catholic and I have found that it is easier for people to bash what they do not understand than it is to actually take the time to learn the truth about it. For example, we are being bashed because of the statement on Limbo. If people would take the time to learn that Limbo was never an official teaching of the Church, but rather a theory, they may not find it so odd that it has been done away with.
God bless,
Stanbo

Actually, catholics are far more reasonable than the fundamentalist crowd
From what I've read:
- Catholics allow that god may have used evolution to create man
- Catholics warn against the excesses of fundamentalism
- Catholics don't believe science and spirituality must conflict
- Catholics don't believe God is directing their every move
Much more reasonable than the evangelicals

I was raised a Catholic until I moved out on my own and woke up. Come on do you really think God approves of all that gold you see in church and the graven images that surround you their. I won't even get into the priests who molestor children. Now you have the Pope making things up as he goes along with the whole concept of Limbo. Also the whole idea that the church will save you is false doctrine as well.

Because there are over-zealous Catholics that keep preaching the word of God to non-Catholics and it's irritating. I'm a Catholic (a backslider)and whenever some person(not just Catholics) tries to make me go to their church I dislike it.
You don't make other people go to your church, unless they are interested.
Not all Catholics are like that of course and it's not just Catholics that behave this way.

It is written that very few hate the Catholic Faith, but Millions hate what they think the Catholic faith is.
I get so tired answering the same mis-conceptions over and over again.
The sad part of that is the fact that all of our beliefs are printed in black and white in a book for anyone who wants to to read, it is called the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Peace and God Bless!

Blessed are you when men persecute you and utter all kinds of insults against you for His name.
Remember they did It to Him first just continue to love and be a witness to the faith. Forgive them for they no not what they do. Many cannot get over having an authority above or beyond themselves including fall away catholics who do not listen to the magisterial of the church ( the teaching office) which is guided by the Holy Spirit thus it is Christ speaking
How foolish of them, how unsophisticated of them surely they do not need to listen to the Pope. Surely you do not need to listen to God Go ahead do what you want, you'll like it, you will not die you will become like Gods knowing good and evil
Deciding for themselves arbitrarily and subjectively what is good and what is evil. They continue to exchange the truth for a lie
