Well you know just because one steps away from church and quits listening to christain music doens't mean that they have backslid from God but since you started to get a nasty mouth and proably done other things that weren't christian like that that's when you backslid from God but you can recover from that and come back to him. All you have to do is ask him for his forgiveness and mean it and he'll forgive you but you can't do that stuff anymore. You have to try your best not to mess up but you will because your only human but just because God will forgive you doesn't mean you can go back and do all those non christan things you have to stop doing them and live right or else asking him to forgive you won't work. Yeah I know it'll be hard to put that behind you with Satan always reminding you of what you did but you can do it with God's help. I believe that if your serouis about going back to him and living right. Sure you'll mess up but you have to try your best not to then you can go back to him. So I hope this helps you. If you need anymore advice then you can email me.

There is always hope.
Start by attending Church EVERY Sunday.
You can't have a relationship with someone that you don't visit or talk to.
Think about all of the hours you (and I) spend every day on non-Religious things, if we just spend 5% of our time either thinking about our faith or in Prayer, or reading the bible or any or thousands good books, we will not stray from God long.
Dedication to attending Mass is one of the main reasons I became Catholic last year.
Good Luck and God Bless!

"If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness/iniquity."
In a sense, most if not all, Christians backslide in thought, word, or deed at one time or another, some even daily. The main thing is to turn your heart again to Him, ask the forgiveness He so freely offers, and accept your position as child of God. The Bible promises that if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. I suggest reading your Bible again, maybe just a few verses at a time, while asking for strength. In a short amount of time, it will probably be a joy to you to be feeding on God's Word again. Believe His promises. We all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. That's what it is to be a sinner saved by Grace. I feel excited for you as you begin your journey back Home to the Father Who loves us beyond our wildest imaginings.

Yes, there is hope. The Bible speaks of going back "to the old landmark" or that turning point in your life where you first met Him and "do your firstworks (follow the plan of salvation) over" if necessary. Read, pray, worship, allow God to re-sanctify your life and you will be fulfilled as long as you approach His throne with the same sincerity as before.

Have you sat down with God to talk it out? That is the first step. Then start with the Bible again, and go back to church. You may want to address the core reasons why you left in the first place, and ask God questions in prayer.

What i might want to do to help might want to be to hitch some communities that are committed to reading the Bible and understanding God's be conscious. regularly, dissimilar church homes could have those both on Friday or Wednesday nights. What human beings regularly do (a minimum of at mine) is we've an icebreaker, worship, and then have a speaker on some topic. yet another significant element, if you're actually not doing so already, is to bypass to Sunday college. it really is significant too. it would want to sound all "little-kiddy" and stuff, yet even adults have study communities too at church. ultimately, i comprehend contained in the summer season there are regularly church camps. one it really is amazing is CBM camp. Thats in California besides the indisputable fact that, so in accordance to the position you stay, i do not comprehend the different places. yet those regularly help me come back to God, exceptionally the church camp. Congratulations on coming to God (or having a will to follow Him extra efficient).

So how do you return to God? "Repent ye therefore, and
be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when
the times of refreshing shall come from the presence
of the Lord." (Acts 3:19). Therefore repent, get back
into the word, and let God blot out your sins. It's
that simple. Just pray and ask God to forgive you and
clean you up.

Sure, remember the story of the prodigal son? Believe in your salvation. And get back into church. You're missing it.
When I went back , I started going to the nearest one. It's a little country church about a mile away.

Good news, all you have to do is to get back into regular prayer, if you neglect prayer you really go down hill fast, it keeps us connected to God and no-one ever advanced in the spiritual life without it, so make the effort it will not be in vain.

Just get rid of the nasty mouth and you're fine. You need not return to a life dedicated to the belief in a flawed, man-made book, that's full of contradictions, pagan myth, and fantasy.
