If you are happy the way you are, and you give a good example to your kids as to how people should be treated, then stay as you are. What's more important is the person on the inside, not how they look on the outside.
However, if you are feeling uncomfortable with the Goth style, now that you're a mom, then you might consider a change. But please, only do what makes you happy. Keep in mind that kids will always be embarrassed by their parents no matter how different the are or how much they blend in. It's the nature of the parent-child relationship.

Nah, it's just your style. It's really up to you whether you want to change how you look. I seriously doubt your little girls see you as a goth, they see you as their mum!
By the time they reach the pre-teens, they'll be embarassed of you whether you're a goth or not. All kids that age are embarrased of their parents. Just don't take it personally!

No matter how you dress or how you behave, your kids will be embarassed.
You're setting a good example to your children by showing them that conforming is not how you have chosen to live your life. Although in a way, being a goth IS conforming...anywho, it ISN'T time to stop being yourself.
Being you is the best thing you can be.
Go you!

I reckon you should remain the way you are. For you to have matained being a mild Goth in your 20's, it's obviously apart of who you are.

As long as you are there for your kids and love and support them in everything,it should not matter what you look like!!!
Don't change the way you are to fit in with society's expectation of what a mum should look like!!!

If you were going to school would you want a mum who is so unsecure that she has to dress in a childish, pecuiliar and ridiculous way in order to feel accepted?

do what makes you happiest. maybe just wear jeans and a shirt to drop them off at school if you're worried they'll be embarassed but your kids will love you no matter how you look so you might as well look how you feel most comfortable!
