I'm a 28 year old female. It get really irritated and depressed living with my mom, she is the most negative and critical person I've ever known. But since I am still studying and not happy at my job because they humiliate me and treat me like a servant. I am not sure if I should move out with a roommate. I wanted to save some money but I am getting really stressed living with my mother and my step sister.
What would you do?

You definitely should move out- and should have done so years ago. the more you live under a parent's roof, the more they will treat you like a child and the less respect they will have for you. It may be hard at first, because you have been used to not having rent to pay-- but it does get easier. You will also feel better about yourself- and feel stronger in dealing with any self esteem issues that you have. I do not want to appear rude- but you seem a bit too old to be living at home anyway. Take charge of your own life- and things will look up !!!

MOVE OUT!!! I know it's going to be rough on your own but it might make it worth while. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life. So first start with moving out then work on finding a new job. What kind of place do you work at??? I would sue them for harassment if they keep humiliating you like that.

I was in your shoes 5 years ago. Except I was recently divorced with my 5 year old daughter. I had to move out. My mom was driving me crazy. Wanting to control me (still).

So, yes, its hard living on your own, but there is nothing more beautiful than being independent.

Trust me, my mom was not a happy camper when she found out that I was moving out. She had the guts to call the landlord and bad talked about me to him. Lucky, he took me in.

Now, she's proud of me.

Sweetheart it's been time for you to move out. I'm surprised that your mom has yet to talk to you about that. And on your part, do you not want privacy or your own space. I advise you to save up some kind of money and move out.

if you can afford it sweetheart you probably need to move out . all that negativity is not good for you it will really bring down your morale .if you cant afford to move try to hang in there and continue studying . education is the key to having a better life and seeking better employment.
