I see it 1 of 2 ways.
First Way
If there was no religion it would be a possibility that there would be less crime and countries and people from different cultures would be less divided. We may be more like one big happy family. All the wars you see nowadays link to religion if not are based purely on religion, so that means if there wasn't religion then there wouldn't be any war? No but there would probably be less.
OR
Second Way
In every religion there is fear. People are scared that if they do something that is forbidden in their religion then something bad will happen to them (eg; go to Hell). This stops a lot of people from commiting crimes and keeps a lot of people on the right road.
Which one, I don't know. HOWEVER, to find out the true answer, we'd have to experience both which is IMPOSSIBLE.
Good Question
Thank You
Have A Lovely Day..xX

What kind of 'faith' - with which you say you have no problem - would it be that was not associated with some kind of community, be it hindu, buddhist, jewish, christian, muslim or whatever? Also, are you suggesting that the world is not a better place in any sense whatsoever as a result of educational, medical, social and other kinds of help provided by faith communities during historical times?

yes without orginized religion ther would be no such thing as religious wars (the ones that appear most often)
ther would be no stuck up church people
my doorway would stay clean (meaning i wouldnt have people trying to convince me faith is real by going to my house 24/7)
we couldnt fight about whos right and whos wrong.
we could have normal conversations with noone on edge thinking "if i say the wrong thing, perhaps they will think im not as religious as he?"
and of course, there would be less hate ^_^
edit: oh yeah plus there wouldnt be them crazies running around saying "god told me to kill him!"

Religion separates ,divides and conquers. Spirituality unites. Without a doubt it would be a much better place.

Not without organized religion.
If there was no religious intolerance or religious extremists, the world would be MUCH better off.
