My boyfriend and I love each other have some trust issues in our relationship (mainly on my part, I find it difficult to trust) what does the bible say about trust in a relationship? The current situation is that I feel my boyfriend isn't being honest about some money he is supposed to have, but he insists that he isn't lying to me.I want to have the strength to give him the benefit of the doubt and trust what he says to me , can the bible help me in this?

If your boyfriend is truly honest with you he can verify what he says by showing you his bank statements, credit card bills, etc. If he is not willing to be totally open with you now, how will you be able to trust him once you are married?
If he really cares about you and is honest he will prove his integrity to you so that you can trust him.

Trust is not blindly believing someone, you have to have a foundation for your trust. I wouldn't give the person I want to marry the benefit of the doubt, I want him to PROVE to me that I can trust him.

See what is says in the following verses how a husband is to love his wife. He cares for her as if she is totally a part of himself.
Eph. 5: 25-29 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church—
