Recently someone claimed to be from Canadian Govt. Lottery Dept emailed me and said that I have won toto and that $4.++++million is waiting for me to claim all I have to do is contact a phone no. in South Africa and told me I have to be discreet about the win. I did not claim cos I did nt buy any toto from any where. So I just send the email to Spam! That is definitely a scam. There's been too many of these around and many in my country has been cheated thousands of dollars. If you really did buy and strike, the prize money will not be in a courier's hand. Right?

I'd suggest you write back and tell them to deduct any fees from your winnings and forward the balance to you. That will tell you if its a scam or not.

yes if it were legal you would not have to pay for any fees only the taxes, and that is only after you get the money in your hands, did you enter any lottery in Ireland
