Just bought a SanDisk 2GB pro duo memory card and was wondering how many photos would this hold with a 6MP camera?

About 560 as a guess (since I have a camera that resolution and a Sandisk card half that size which holds 284).
I am assuming you setup for large size and best resolution. The exact number depends on whether you are shooting raw or jpeg, what jpeg compression you request, and whether your images have large blank areas or lots of detail.
Go with 560 as a good estimate though.

If the camera is set to its maximum jpeg quality, just under 400. More, of course, if you use a lower quality setting.
