northville- you do realize that if the continents moved that much in 4,000 years the amount of earthquakes would simply destroy most life on earth.

Well, jeez, I thought everyone knew that the kangaroo, before becoming a land animal, had giant pontoon feet which allowed them to walk on water. After the flood kangaroos were all over the earth, one day some of them decided to go on vacation. They went to a large island, that we know today as Australia. And they then spread the word that, Australia was the best place for kangaroos. And so all the other kangaroos pontooned over. And from that point, they devolved their feet to what you see today, since they did not plan on any more moves involving water. And they lived happily ever after.

The buffalo was always in North America. Most were drowned in the flood. But two of them, Jack and Jill Buffalo, had gone up a hill to get a pail of water, just before the flood occurred. This hill is in, what we know today, as the Black Hills, of South Dakota. So they had no choice but to wait for the flood waters to subside. And afterward came down, and did a re-population, so to speak.

The flood was local, not global. There is no reason to assume that the flood covered the entire earth, or that every species of animal was onboard the ark.

the continents moved and shifted. Have you noticed how the continents look like a big puzzle? They once were one land mass. When they started to shift and move - life moved with it.

While that seems a good question, I would ask, rather, why aren't these creatures anywhere else now?
