i LOOOOOVE chili! prior to becoming a vegetarian, i used to make this BOMB chili... i got it from a cookbook (shh, no one has to know). since becoming a vegetarian (about two months ago), i haven't tried that same recipe. if i did, then i figure i would try to use either soy protein or that soy chicken stuff VegeUSA makes.
i think i'm making me some chili for some dinner. better cook up them beans now!

I love chili (I am Woman!) but in mixed settings I certainly don't want to get an upset stomach and that bloating feeling. I'll eat it at home where I can wear spandex and pig out! I sometimes sprinkle sweet chopped onion and a little grated chedder cheese with a small dollop of sour cream. I also have a recipe for a sweet cornbread which is almost like cake.My husband says real chili doesn't have beans, but if its spicey I have to have Pintos in mine! For the guy who didn't know what 'Chili' is here in U. S. Its a concoction of a blend of chili peppers (everyone has their fave) tomatoes of some kind, cumin , garlic or other seasonings and simmered with chopped or ground meat of some sort. Some recipes are VERY hot some are mild. Eaten in a bowl usually. Sometimes with pinto or kidney beans. They have 'Chili cook Offs" or competititions in the Fall, in some places for the best tasting Chili! I've never been to one, but I hear everyone has their 'secret ingredient".

I absolutely love chili! I have many different recipes for it and I am very picky about whose chili I will eat.
The hotter the chili, the better I like it.

I love really good chili, but I'm picky about it. I use the Tabasco brand chili sauce in a jar as a base, it is my favorite. And the chili must have meat, preferably both ground beef and sausage, and beans too. Add sour cream, shredded cheese, and oyster crackers. Yum, I'm hungry now!

I'm a woman, and I love it. I have my own recipe and my husband has his own recipe. We usually have my husband's because he doesn't like my secret ingredient...bloody mary mix. He can't even write his recipe down, but it involves using a hand blender on the tomatoes.
And I eat his chili with cheese and sour cream, which he thinks is gross. :)
Interesting how people get so fickle about their chili, isn't it?

I enjoy chili! I cook chili at home and also order it at some restaurants. One of my favorite places to order chili at is Ted's Montana Grill. They serve Buffalo chili. My only complaint is that sometimes it's a little too salty. I enjoy tortilla chips with my chili!

You're talking to a girl they call Martha over here, I can cook you a meal, knit you a sweater and weave you a basket all in one sitting and yes, I loooove chili. The day after you can either spread it on garlic bread cover with cheese and bake or add maccaroni noodles and make a spicy sotta goulash.

I like chili but I am very picky about it so I have my own recipe. Plus, I need cornbread with it. Have you ever tried chili cooked over an open fire? AMAZING!!!

I do like Chili, however I do not eat beans in my chili and like it with more of a soup like consistency and I use tomato juice for my base, I make it very spicy but the kids and I love, love, love the dunk PB&J sanwhiches in ours. My hubby likes beans in his so I mix his up seperatly. Yeah, guess we're spoiled LOL.
