Since God is the maker of heaven, earth and mankind, it would seem appropriate to turn to Him with that question.
Actually, Jesus said he came to earth in order to answer that question. Before Pilate, he said:
"For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth." John 18:37
On an earlier occasion, he also said regarding the Bible:
Your word is truth." John 17:17.
So, it would seem that if Jesus wasn't a liar, we can be pointed in the right direction to find the answer to your question.
But be very careful, there are imposters who claim to explain the Bible.

JESUS is the truth. John 14:6 states "I am the way and the truth and the life No one comes to the Father except through me".

It all started when adam sinned.Because GOD is holy he cant have sin in his presence.so man got seperated from GOD.

So GOD needs something to pay the penalty of sin.JESUS was the perfect sacrifice for our penalty. So JESUS came to earth lived among us and died for us on the cross.JESUS was the penalty.

GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.

"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

Truth can only be experienced. Words fall short in explaining it.

God, existence of only a Single entity, Omnipresent, eternal, stainless, whole, Light r few of the words to to explain it.

In that state of experience u r not there only that is there.

I find this quote interesting: From the Kasidah Part IV: All faith is false; all faith is true: Truth is the shattered mirror strewn in myriad bits, while each believes their tiny piece the whole to own.

2Pe:1:12: Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
2Pe:1:13: Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
2Pe:1:14: Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
2Pe:1:15: Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
2Pe:1:16: For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
2Pe:1:17: For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
2Pe:1:18: And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
2Pe:1:19: We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2Pe:1:20: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pe:1:21: For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Thy word is true and faithful

His word is truth

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God...And the word became flesh and dwelt amoung us

Yahshua (Jesus) is the Word

Therefore. Yashua is the Truth.
