have dinosaur remains been found in the europian, mediterranean, african, indian, western asian areas? the reason i ask, is i don't believe that i have ever heard that they have, mainly in the americas, canada, and the ice caps---if the bible was written by people in the middle east, maybe they didn't know what a dinosaur was, although before Noah built the ark, there was a land of giants...
i was just mulling this over a six pack last night...y'all help me out.
Thanks!
P.S. cheers, Riegan!

Dinosaur remains have been found on every continent on Earth, including Antarctica. Numerous fossils of the same dinosaur species have been found on completely different continents, corroborating the generally-accepted theory that all land masses were at one time connected in a super-continent called Pangaea. Pangaea began to break apart during the Triassic period roughly 230 million years ago.

Asian lands are renound for their vast amount of fossil evidence. The American, Canadian and Artic finds you hear about, you hear about because of your geographic location. However there is a very large market in Asia, especially China, for fossilized dinosaur bones. They are ground up and sold as "Dragon Bone powder." Sad really, so many sites are destroyed before they can be properly excavated. Mongolia is a great area that has opened itself up to Excavation by Western archeologists (who consequently publish in Western newspapers, hence you hear of "Western" discoveries that may or may not be in a Western country). Africa is the only place other than the Americas that Triceratops has been found, leading to a theory about it's grazing territory and climate needs. Dinosaur fossil bones are everywhere, you just hear about them more in Canadian and American discussions because we in the West have more money to give to grants to study them.

Nah, they've found Dinosaur bones all over the world.
Suprisingly, some anthropologists believe Mastadon (though not exactly a dinosaur) skulls gave birth to the legend of the Cyclops in Greece ages ago.

Maybe the dinosaurs all died out before God made Adam and Eve. Ofcourse the book of Job does describe something like a dinosaur or a dragon.

The remains of dinosaurs have been found everywhere, and I agree that these remains could be the leviathans and giants that the Bible refers to.
Same with China's dragons.
Neanderthal remains have even been found in the Middle East. Most people seem to think of them being only in Europe.
***Ryan below me is correct. Mammoth and mastadon remains have been credited with the legend of the Cyclops.

Before the flood of Noah's day all the land mass was connected. It was when the canopy of water that surrounded the earth fell that it did so with such weight and force that it split the earth to form different continents. The whole earth was a garden...all the same temperature that is why they found mammoths in the arctic circle with green grass in their mouths.
The giants you refer to were the Nephilim. They were the offspring of fallen angels who had materialized bodies to marry these beautiful girls..... the daughters of men. When the flood came the angels dematerialized and went back into the heavens but their children were drowned.

I am a christian but according to the fossile record (evolution) they claim that in the strata layers, all around the world, that their are dinosaurs and that each layer has a differant animal on the evolutionary scale. By the way Darwin was once a theologian before he got caught up in this scientific business, and dinosaurs are in the Bible, you can google it, by doing a search engine for "dinosaurs in the Bible".

Dinosaur fossils have been found throughout the globe, including Antarctica. The reason that the bronze age middle eastern goat herders didnt mention them in their book was because they had no knowledge of fossil evidence, even if they tripped over one they wouldn know what it was.
ps. the land of giants was made up

Europe has a number of fossil sites. Jurassic refers the the Jura mountain range at the French, German and Swiss borders. Western Asia is not a good source.

That is really funny. LOL And I am not sure how to answer it either. Fossils have been found in Europe, ect though. The answer to that is either faith or science I am afriad. Every now and then, they don't mix well. Or I suppose God could have made the dinasours before the humans....I personally believe the science one on that.
