If I understand your question correctly, you save you have two anti-virus programs on your computer and your computer is slow.

Two Anti-virus programs running at the same time cause the programs to conflict with themselves and REALLY slow a computer down. Remove one of the anti-virus programs.

NOTE: You can have multiple anti-sypware programs on a computer at the same, but only ONE anti-virus program.

It is highly recommended that you should have ONE anti-virus program on your computer.

Why is my computer slow? I bet you have asked yourself that very question time and time again. And for the most part, you probably just can not figure it out. Ask the guy next to you, and they probably don’t have the foggiest idea either. I mean, you may get the 'spyware','Virus' answer, but this most likely is not the case. For most of the times, it really is just bad files in your registry files. Corrupted or missing registry files can make your computer too slow.
Any time you make a change to any of your computers settings and surfing online, they are stored and updated in the registry.Over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions and full of junk and errors. So if you run a program,it will take a long time to required registry file and sometime it cant find its registry files since regsitry errors and then it has to sit there. So your computer will slow or freezing.
To speed up your computer, you need to fix your registry files. And I guarantee you have errors in the registry files that cause computer slow.Fixing these errors will dramatically increase the speed of your computer.Sometimes can up to 300% or more! All you need to do is run a registry repair software called registry cleaner, and get your Windows registry cleaned up and optimized.Top 5 registry cleaners can be found in here: http://www.computerspeed.info/index.php?t=speed2
Registry cleaner not only can clean registry files, registry errors, but also can clean temp files, history and other disk junk. You will no longer have a slow computer.

Now you can check out http://www.computerspeed.info/index.php?t=speed2 ,there are reviews of top rated registry cleaners and a clear guide to tell you how to speed up your computer. And from there you also can get a free scan to fix any problems such as computers slow, computer freezing, computer errors and getting the blue death screen.
Hope that can help you.

Well, apparently your computer might be infected with a malware or greyware.

Now to answer your questions:

No, it is not NECESSARY to have an antivirus in your system, if you are willing to take risk of keeping your computer safe yourself. But it is highly recommendable (to the extent of being necessary :) that you should have a good antivirus loaded in your system to keep you safe from unwanted guests.

How can you get it... Simple, you can download a trial version from the internet (use google to search for the antivirus of your choice... Some recommendations are: Norton, McAfee and Trend Micro) and then purchase it online. Or you can go to a local software vendor and buy a (genuine) copy.

Have fun :)

Its some what difficult answer as the details are not available. But if I were in your place first thing I would have checked is the memory utilization and CPU utilization ( through task manager ) and would see which processes are hogging memory and CPU. Then check if there is enough space in windows installation drive. Now anti virus is very important, particularly if you are connecting to internet. There are plenty of anti viruses available on the net, free and paid. I would suggest you to go for symantic anti virus.

The reason your computer is running slow is that crimminals have installed programs to gather your personal information. They may have installed Bot software where spam is mailed. Bots and Data miners use your computer resources and waste your time, and can harm you financially.
Running two antivirus programs isn't advisable. The antivirus programs will fight each other. Here is a list of free programs that will remove spyware. I will also include some programs that will protect your computer.

Free programs do work, try these first if they don't work you can spend money. rootkit finder avg. Spybot Search and Destroy, Adaware, CCleaner(scan for Issues), Windows defender, acwshredder, AntiVir (runscan). If these don't work spend money, If spending money doesn't work, you will need to physically remove your hard drive from the computer, and slave it to another computer and run an antivirus scan from the other computer.
