in a recent conversation I suggested that the reason islam outlaws pork is because it copied that from Judaism, and I got a response of:
"Actually the last thing prophet Mohammad (PBUH) would do is copy JUDAISM!!!!! "
and this was from someone claiming to live in a western country.
which is actually amusing. Halal (the islamic version of Kosher) from my understanding is MORE lax than jewish standards of kashrut, so if something is Kosher by jewish authority, then it will almost certainly also qualify to be halal, or its not-qualifying being a technicality of whos guy was watching it and authorizing.

muslims look for kosher foods. jewish kosher is kosher enough for them to even eat in jewish kosher returaunts, but jewish kosher is much more strict we they cannot eat in a muslim returaunt. there are those that are as ignorant as you that think that is a problem and will not eat in a returaunt just because it is muslim or arab owned.

We have so many different nationalities in America that you can't live here without stepping on someone's toes. You can't live in America and take offense. If you do, go back to where you came from. I favor the Jews, so the Muslims in my opinion need to straighten up. And yes I am Christian. I can learn to love the Muslims like I learned to love the Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Mexicans, Italians, Germans - Oh wait a minute I am part German. If the Muslims will straighten up I'll have family "part Muslim" one of these days.
Learn the drill - when in America learn to love everybody. If you can't do this, go back where you came from.

Well I'm offended when I see those gross jars of pickled pigs feet and moms buying their kids boxes of alleged cereal which is nothing more than pure sugar, preservatives and food coloring. But I'm not asking for a boycott.
