Hey I need a boyfriend to go with to the 8th grade dance with and I dont know what to do! Do you have any tips?

1. You don't really need a boyfriend to go to the dance, you can just go with a bunch of other girls that don't have dates. Make it fun, like the girls without dates are an elite group - give yourselves a cute group name, go to the dance and have a great time.
2. If the first answer does not appeal to you AND you can invite someone outside your school, ask your parents if any of their friends has a son your age. No one has to know that this was an arranged date....
3. I am sure that you know some boys that are just friends, ask one of them to take you.
4. Have one of your girl friends talk to some of the boys to see who might be interested in taking you, 13 year old boys can be very shy....maybe they just haven't worked up the nerve to ask yet.
No matter which you decide, have a great time....real boy friends will come in high school.

Is there anyone that you like? If so ask them. If not it is just 8th grade dance it definately won't be the end of the world. You still have proms. If there isn't someone you like take a friend. Heck me and my girls had boyfriends and still went without them. It's all about having fun with your friends when you are in 8th grade. Trust me.

Go with a good guy friend and maybe things will "heat up." Don't rush into getting a boyfriend for the sake of a 2 hour dance. The relationship will be just as rushed as the quick amount of time it took for you to get together. Go with a good friend to ensure that you have a good time and maybe something even greater will coem out of it.

Find someone that you like and ask them. It doesn't have to be true love or anything it is a dance. If even if you don't find a guy to go with go anyway and you will see that there are guys there with no date as well. Be yourself and have fun.

OK you don't need a boyfriend, you just need a date. ask some boy in your class that you think might like to go with you. ask friends for advice as to who to ask to the dance. since you're asking him, you should pay for at least half of everything.

yeah just be yourself, you dont have to impress anybody by being something your not, because in the end people will eventually find out anyway and that's not a good idea. So always be yourself, be real and geuine. Why change for someone else ? :)
