I used to live in South Yarr, Melbourne and there was a gallery on Toorak road which exhibited Australian artists work. I saw a beautiful but simple painting of a blue sky with one white fluffy cloud in the top centre of the painting and at the foot of the painting, in the centre, is a girl sitting pointing up at the cloud. You see the girl from the back and she has a long black plait in her hair down the back of her white dress (I think white). I would love to know who it was by and where I could get a print of it. Any help????????
Yes - I know I should have enquired at the gallery but we have returned to the UK now and the painting haunts me when I am depressed and it makes me feel all warm n happy inside.

there is this one piece I love,,it's called 'searching for God',,,,The painters name is Sagar Talekar,,,This man's talent blows my mind. He won a great deal of money in a contest for this painting,,,he gave every penny of it to a charitable cause. He's a scholar and a noble man. I think you would love his paintings. His yahoo ID is prashant_jedhe@yahoo,,,tell him you'd like to see his work. This man is unbelievable,,he's recieving his phd this spring in NY.
