Well we could...
1. kill ourselves (war)
2. kill our planet (overconsumption)
3. there could be a large meteor (unlikly but possble)
4. the sun could burn out (once again unlikly)
5. virus that we cant stop (bird flu or other such things)
6. We piss off some aliens and they kill us all

plague...disease, pestilence, war - especially the use of nuclear weapons...
