Differentiat b/w "fat" and "Oil"?

I don't know if there is technically any difference.

The only difference I can think of is its state at room temperature. Maybe "fats" are solids/semi-solids at room temp (21 C) and oils are liquids at room temps.
Just an educated guess, though.
