my ex send me text messages when he "drunk" and or bored. last night he sent a text saying how me every gets any sleep and that he thinking about sending out for some help and then says something about someone named laura? what the hell does this mean? what can i do? is he trying to make me jelious? any words of advice would really help me, please help. thanks.

sounds like he is trying to make you jealous or in some way, wanting you to rekindle the relationship and make the first move to take him back. He may think that by bringing in another girl into the equation you might have second thoughts about being away from him.
But as he is only talking to you when he is drunk and/or bored he doesn't think that highly of you and so you should put yourself first and him last, thats all he does.

Tell him to stop. You are not his therapist and if he's so hung up on some girl named Laura, then he needs to talk to her about it not you. Why should you be losing sleep because of her too?
It just sounds like he is used to coming to you with his problems, so you need to let him know that you aren't going to be there for him any more. If he texts you again, just respond with a stop it, or don't respond at all. Eventually he will quit.

If he only texts you when he is drunk or bored he doesn't really care about you, just wants you to feel sorry for him.
I you want to maintain a relationship or any sort with the guy or just feel sorry for him, I would tell him if he wants to talk, call me when he is sober, but don't text me anymore and block all future messages and move on.

I think the first thing you might consider doing is to simply ignore him. I cannot begin to tell you the extent of the head games that some people like to play. Maybe he is having a tough time getting over you? Sometimes you have to really just ignore someone who you don't wish to see anymore for them to get the point and move on. If you choose to ignore him, it may get pretty hard since most people become more persistent at that point. But if you stand by your decision and put up a solid boundary that you don't wish to communicate he will eventually move on to bigger and better things to consume his time.

He was drunk and the Laura reference slipped into the text message. He might have even thought he was texting HER!

CHANGE YOUR NUMBER! I think he is definately jerking your chain. Think long and hard about you relationship. Odds are that you broke up with him for a distinct reason. If he really wanted to start things up again, I think he would let you know clear and simple. Right now, by your reaction, he has you on a string, driving you nuts with his incoherent messages. Don't give him that power. If he's trying to get you back play hard to get, and don't let him play with your emotions.

Don't worry yourself over it. He is after all your ex. However that does not mean you can turn heartless and not help out on a needy friend. Maybe, try to get in touch with his guy friends that hang out with him. They may be able to help better. Don't "dirty" your hands over his current troubled relationships when it is already over between the both of you. Bad for him and you.

if you are tammy and you are talking about george than i am the laura who you are talking about. i'm sorry. but yes, he is trying to make you jealous in addition to being an asshole.
as for what you can do....you can 1 deal with it or 2 tell him to get off his sorry *** and leave you alone. you do NOT need to talk to him anymore if you dont want to. he's your ex - not your bfffffffffffffffffl.

umm... is that the way he speaks or is that ur grammar cuz if that is him then hes probably always drunk when he sends u text, but if he is trying to make u jealous than u should try to make him jealous...
