Many teachings from the Old Testament were modified by the New Testament. Some from the old were applicable only to the time of the patriarchs and Israel. When Christ came, the Jews questions His teachings which were departing from the teachings of Moses. Specifically the circumcision and the observance of Sabath.

If you ignore New Testament teaching that means you also ignore or reject Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. There is no salvation outside of Jesus Christ except through God's grace.
But why ignore the New Testament? The Old Testament attains its full meaning and fulfilment in the New Testament and in turn sheds light upon the New Testament and allows it to be understood more fully. The New Testament in turn fulfils the Old Testament because it reveals the final Word of God, promised to Israel, Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 1,2)
Peace and every blessing!

Reading just the old testament is like knowing where the light switch is in a dark room and not turning it on...
If you were very sick and dieing of starvation and discovered a unlimited, healthy food source then would you just stand their and stair at it without ever indulging. That would be the sin!

You will only go to hell if you are not Born Again. To do this you must Repent (turn away) from your sins and put your Faith in Jesus.
Simply being a good person is not good enough, the bible says 'that none are good, only God' and you can better understand this by judging yourself compared to God's standard of Righteousness which are the 10 Commandments.
Have you ever told a Lie? Have you ever stolen anything, regardless of its size or value? Have you ever lusted? Jesus said, 'if you look at another person with lust, you have committed adultery with that person already in your heart.'
Most people are guilty of breaking these commandments, and that's only three of the ten, which make them lying, thieving, adulterers at heart and on the day of Judgment they will be found guilty of transgressing God's law.
God will be Judging you on Righteousness, and if you haven't repented and put your trust in Jesus, the one who died for your sins, then the bible makes it very clear that all liars, thieves, and adulterers will end up in the lake of fire.
Please read your bible, study it and find out for yourself, I don't want you to end up in hell.

No human (Christian or anyone) can know if you (or anyone else) will "go to hell". I'm sick of the fire and brimestone talk of some so-called Christians, making people afraid of hell in order to make them want to be Christian (that's not the way it should work, that's manipulation).
If you were raised without ever knowing of God, but you tried to live a good live and help others, who can say you would go to hell?? Or if you were raised Muslim, or Hindu, never really heard about the Christian God/understood it, but tried to seek good and do good and seek truth - would you go to hell or heaven? If it was to hell, that doesn't seem like the God I know.
Only God knows where everyone is going. I trust God, even if I don't understand or know these things, because I know that God is good and loving. Whatever happens will be the best, and it will be from a compassionate and caring God (but also a holy God, and a God of justice).

I don't know if you're a guy or a girl, but according to the apostle Paul, if you get circumcised (this only applies to guys, and I don't recommend it past the age of 8 days old), then you are obligated to keep the whole Law. Can't find the scripture, but anyway.
So you'd better ask the Jews what they think about hell.

It is not a sin....the old testament is the law....the new the Grace......My question is can you follow every law perfectly as presented in the old testament.....the new testament is the grace.....forgiveness for the times that even though a person was trying they fell short of following the laws of the old testament.....It is what is in a person's heart ....
with that said...i just feel this was a troll trying to cause a stir for the presenters entertainment.....why?

If you follow one fictitious book but ignore another you will not end up in a fictitious place.
Murder is a sin. Rape is a sin. Choosing one book over another is just a matter of personal taste. Ignore the brainwashers and choose your own path. As long as you don't harm anyone on the way, nobody minds what you do.

Yes, because the only way to God is through Jesus Christ and all His teachings are in the New Testament.
