I found part of the prayer I was looking for "God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference. " but its not the Serenity prayer, we used to say this one when I was at Intermediate but I have no idea what it was. Apparantly it was put together by a highschool student...

It is the Serenity Prayer.
Most of the time I just say thank you and help me Lord. That's how simple prayer can be. At other times, I pray the Lord's Prayer which is a summary of the gospel. It is a complete prayer which you can use for meditation. Just reflect on each petition and you will do alright.

I would like to share this beautiful prayer of St. Teresa of Avila with you.

Let nothing disturb you, nothing affright you
All things are passing, God never changes.
Patient endurance attains to all things.
Nothing is wanting to him who possesses God.
Alone God suffices.

Peace and every blessing!

2. I don't care. It doesn't matter.

3. I don't pray. It is just a way for people to feel like they've done something without actually having to do anything.

One man with a hammer can do more good than a billion people praying.

Prayer achieves nothing.
Facing reality and action does.
Praying is a delusional way to pretend you care about things and/or people without doing anything about them.
