I am 21, British, and quite slim build but average height at 5'10"- in no way big or particularly bulky.
However, I have had an unnaturally deep voice ever since it broke during puberty, one that sounds like it belongs to a much bigger man- I've been told that I am a white Michael Clark Duncan (big black man off of Armageddon, Sin City and the Green Mile)! I do sound quite similar, but obviously with an English accent.
Do you think this would be off-putting in a man of markably average stature?

O, I personally think that's very attractive and I honestly don't think the fact that you are not gigantically tall or big makes any difference. Plus the english accent makes it even better. I'm sure a lot of woman would agree with me. It would be better for you not to arrange blind dates over the phone for example, for the plain fact that the person on the other side might be expecting to meet a Michael Clark Duncan (in my eyes a giant) and be rather disappointed with a normal guy.

(I'm 16 FYI so a bit inexperienced to really know) I'd like him older because I'm kind of mature for my age (mentally) and I think a mature guy would be good to have. All the guys in high school seem like immature horn dogs obsessed with what's hot and easy. Height: tall, atleast 5'8'' preferably 5'10''. Skinny but not skin and bones, average I guess. Eye color: blue. Nose shape : straight kind of down ( my ex bf had one and i loved it for some weird reason) but it really doesn't matter that much. Hair: I don't know. Skin: doesn't matter. Hair length/style: whatever, not super long but shaggy is ok. no tattoos. no body piercings. casual body personality is hard. Jason Mraz! Happy, kind, open to talk to people and be friendly. but able to be serious and have a deep conversation. Humor is good but not always joking or saying rude jokes. casual joking/humor. not a goody good. he doesn't smoke or drink but will tell you what he wants, and be straight forward. Doesn't give up too easily. Wont pressure a girl. Likes to help, volunteer, be considerate of others. ....that was exhausting. I think the real answer you want is, You! and that works for me :D

No - just a bit surprising if I'd only ever spoken to you! I have a very sexy voice which attracts loads of men. They can't wait to meet me, then, if they do, get all disappointed and blame me for somehow leading them on.
If you know that your voice can mislead, you can mention it in conversation, othewise just be prepared for a few surprises, but don't take a surprised reaction to heart.
Women go for stuff like a nice butt, generosity, passable good looks, and most of all not getting ignored or overlooked while you're worrying about yourself and the impression you are making ;o)

It's personality that counts. Richard Burton was once asked about is voice and said that his brother, a vicar in Wales, had the same voice.
Personally, I don't normally judge a male by his voice (there are other criteria which are more important). What I can't stand is women with 'squeaky' or ''plaintive' voices.

I looove men with rich, deep voices (think Barry White and James Earl Jones)! They sound so masculine and sexy. I also like English accents. Count yourself blessed.

No, a deep voice is lovely on a man. My husband is not that big but has a lovely deep voice, that's what made me notice him when we first met across a room.

No. Deep voices are lovely. In evolutionary terms, this means that a man is more dominant, which women look for in men! Use it to your advantage!

No, I like a deep voice. My favourite has got to be Tom Jones........phwooar.
Saying that, I also love the voice of David Attenborough (wildlife programmes)

I think a deep voice is sexy :) My bf is also white british, and very often when people hear his voice they are suprised. Often he is also mistaken for a much darker person. But who cares, his voice makes me melt every single time I hear him talk and i've known him for two years now.......I'm just one big metled puddle :)

Not at all. I think deep voices in men are sexy!!! I know somebody of your build and structure who is the same and its great!!!
