When playing games, how can u report someone who is rude and swearing at you?

I presume you're talking about online gaming?

On most online games there should be people called moderators or admins. you should report to them the name of the person and a general idea of what they were doing.

if there are no admins there is usually a button on the screen for abuse and other things, click on that and read it.

If neither of those things are available, search around the site for a FAQ page and some where in there may have an answer for your question.

If ALL of these have failed. And your really being upset by the abuse. Simply find a different game with admins and moderators or an abuse report system or STOP PLAYING THE GAME

Most MMO's have a type of GM system that allows you to report errors or bugs you encounter as well as report players. Depending on the game it may be as easy as clicking a button a filling out a form. However, swearing and being rude generally will not result in any meaningful punishment (why ban a player who is paying you to play?) It can be easier if you just type /ignore in your chat window and put that player on ignore.
