Muslim do accept blood transfusions for better health or saving life. Blood transfusions are different compare to blood consuming.
Muslim cannot consume pork, alcohol and blood. I believe there is some restrictions in bible too.

It's true. We can't drink blood, but blood transfusion is allowed. Also we cannot eat pork, but if it ever becomes possible to transplant an organ from a pig, it would be permissable, since it would save someone's life. Alcohol is prohibited but is permitted for medical purposes.

Blood is not to be eaten. Blood transfusions are allowed, as it is necessary to stay alive. Read the verse after that. It says if forced to by necessity to stay alive, it's not a sin and is forgiven. Same goes if you need to replace a heart valve with a pig's. It's doable since it's necessary to live.

It is not forbidden in Islam if you want give some on blood or take from him unless it hurt your body or others.

You should be sure blood is clean.

Yes alchol and pork are frobidden in Islam.

Basically we're not allowed to do anything that is hazardous to our health, so accepting a transfusion would be allowed, but say, drinking blood would not be, you see?

to start with the Alcohol, he did not forbid them to drink alcohol. they can have only little amounts, but they are not to be drunk. they are not to eat pork that's true, also other kinds of food like snails i guess. and yes they accept blood transfusions. and NO the kuraan does not mention that women are obliged to wear the veil. its those extremists who translate the kuraan in their own ways and words.

It's refering to the drinking of blood as Arabs used to do. Which is not allowed.
