A nice Popsicle can help. Have you taken her to the doctor to make sure it's not strep or something else that is treatable?
A little warm, weak tea with honey can be soothing too. Tell her she's grown up for drinking tea.
Hope she feels better soon!

Ice cold water with a touch of Karo syrup. Put two ice cubes
in her drinking cup the cubs will mix the syrup and water together but will make a sound that will make her want to drink it all.

A warm tea with honey & lemon helps. If it keeps up take her to your GP, she may have Tonsilitis, & will need antibiotics. Good luck

give her some honey, it will soothe her throat and won't make it dry because of its consistency
