Call a travel agent, and tell them your price range. They can make suggestions.

Quote you a price... lol, this isn't a travel agent..!!

I would advise you to have a look at a few travel agent websites, that way you can specify where you are travelling from, your budget, when you want to leave etc etc..

Thomson
Thomas Cook
My Travel
Virgin
First Choice

Where you choose to go, is dependant on the type of holiday you like; water based activities, sightseeing, culture, beach etc etc...

Caribbean - try Sandals Resorts
Maldives - have a look at Meeru Island Resort
Australia
North America - Hawaii
South America - Margarita
Europe - Barcelona or Venice

Or you could go for a cruise in the Mediterranean, or Caribbean..

If you are up for a long-haul flight (from the UK). Come to South Africa. July is Winter, so what could be better than cuddling close to your brand new husband?

You can go to the Drakensberg, some parts near Lesotho might even have snow, but the whole thing will cost a lot less than a week in the Alps.

Prices in a few cute B&B places go for R 350p.p.p.n. sharing, which, if you take into account the exchange rate of roughly 13 rands per pound, means it will cost you less than a thousand pounds for you two for two weeks.

I went to this place once, it is very rustic and not at all glamourous, but very very beautiful views and surroundings make this a perfect little hideaway. http://drakensberg.kzn.org.za/drakensberg/about/174.xml

I personally went to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and stayed at the Four Seasons. We decided against going towards the Carribean due to the time of year (June) and we wanted to avoid a flight over 9 hours. So instead we focused on staying in a total luxurious hotel.

The hotel was amazing the best I have ever stayed in. I have been to a few five star hotels and this just left the others standing. Price wise from the UK your looking at £150 each for flights plus $250 per night for both of you at the hotel. This is for Bed and Breakfast only. With the dollar rate being so good at the moment its a bargain.

It depends on where you a traveling from...I'd say Tahiti or other exotic places with no kids and no families. The Caribbean has a lot of all inclusive couples resorts....
Use this website for destination ideas and fast quotes. You can also create a honeymoon registry which will allow wedding guests to contribute. It is a truly stress-free experience.

I personally would love to go to Hawaii, but it's too expensive for us.
I have been thinking about going to Cancun, Mexico. I hear it's very beautiful and for about $900 you can get a package deal that includes flight, room, meals and drinks at certain resorts like Royal Solaris...
That's a great deal.... If your looking for something out of the country that is inexpensive.
We went on a cruise recently but I would not recommend that for a honeymoon....

my husband and i went to branson, missouri. and there is a lot to do there. you could go to one place for a week and another place for the second week. i am not quite sure how much it cost because the hotel part was paid for us as a wedding present. but we did take about $800 with us for food, gas, and etc. and we came home with well over half of that money. but we only went for four days. have fun planning your honeymoon. you could also look up places on the internet or like someone said here check it out with a travel agent. sometimes they have specials.

I don't know if this is the BEST place but.....India. Not only is it beautiful and spiritual, but 1 American dollar is worth about 44 "India Dollars" which makes it a pretty damn good place.
