Hello,

(ANS) Unless you actually have a specific error message or unless you can find some way to capture the error message. Its going to be hard to almost impossible to fix this problem, you MUST discover precisely "which DLL" is damaged or missing or corrupted.

**NOTE: however windows is very clever!! & if the file concerned is a windows system file i.e. a file within the c:\windows\system32 folder. Windows file system protection will attempt to heal, repair or replace the file from its own file repository. This is designed to maintain windows integrity even if a novice user was to accidentally delete a system file. But it does definately have its limitations & so you cannot always relie on this working every time.

**You could try running the windows file system checker tool that comes built into windows. Start>start menu>select the "run" option>type "sigverif"

**You could try a repair to your windows installation, you would need the original windows CD disk for that process.

**IF you do discover precisely which DLL file is missing there are several DLL websites where its possible to download the missing DLL (dynamic link liberary).

As we don't know what's happening, we can't really help unless you give us more to go on. However, on the offchance it's a Windows problem, I'd go with the suggestion to repair from your Windows disk.

It is a virus, that corrupted your pc. Use avast! antivirus, and scan for any traces of viruses. After if it doesn't pick up any thing try AVG anti-spyware, after removing the virus. Use advanced uninstaller pro, it can fix corrupted registries and back them up too. Its great for speeding up your computer.
