While Jesus Christ was already existing from the very beginning, he was not yet acting to his capacity as the Son of God because it was God the Father who was having a test to his creatures as it is in the story of Israel in Exodus.
Exo 21:20 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
Exo 21:21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.
This is one of the commandments given by Israel to mankinnd but not the commandments of Jesus to the people.
You could not really understand the bible and you need a good and true preacher which will let you understand it or read and read it and ask the help of God to understand what it means.
You know not everybody could understand the bible unless with the will of God,no matter how educated you are. I do not mean to belittle your intelligence but I am t elling you the truth about the bible. OK?

I think you haven't read the bible correctly the old testment was meant for jews the holy sacred people of god
God gave the old testment for jews ie, israelies. And they were not following it in the way which he needs
Then he thought of sending his son jesus for them let me repeat for jews with a new testment
Again as the old days they didn't believe in jesus
So the new testment the Good News came was given to the nonselected people ie, the rest world and we all have been selected to be his followers
Of course as you said the old testments was send by jesus for israilies and he has allowed to beat the slaves
If you dont beleive in the three in one god you can find millions of questions such as how can a god be born in a womens womb; with out any sexual interaction with lady
Does the Holy Spirit really had sex with the mother mary

I believe that Jesus is God.
I also believe that this law, like others God gave before He came in person and clarified the law, was given "for the hardness of your hearts".
This does not refer to women only, but to slaves in general. In a time when slavery was common, God gave His people laws to deal with them, and the laws He gave were, considering the times, very compassionate. Even here, in America, during the days of slavery, a person who owned slaves had the right to kill them if he was unhappy with them, and sometimes that did happen. God says you might beat your slaves, but you may not kill them. Later, He says that you must treat your servants kindly, and He also exhorts servants to do their job well.
I don't like the idea that God had to give people laws to deal with slaves. I am not comfortable knowing that God's people owned slaves, and beat them. However, it is a historic fact. I am content, however, to know that the God I worship, unlike any other god, insisted that slaves not be simply killed out of hand.

you've got to understand that in fulfilling the requirements of the law-which men couldn't- himself, by dying on the cross and making a-once-and-for-all-time atonement he freed us from the just requirements of the law and set the stage for the era of living by grace of Christ. If i gave u a scholarship, you will be reckoned as having paid your tuition fees but i bore the effective cost albeit you are enjoying the privilege. By placing our faith in Jesus we get the grace or enablement that comes from him to live above sin. When you do sin and repent [i.e. confessing and forsaking the sin(s)] it is no more counted against you since he's borne the punishment. Take The Bible and read the book of Romans and you'll be cleared. And we both know we have not been successful keeping the laws on our own ...don't we?

Jesus is God’s son in that he was conceived by the Holy Spirit... But that does not mean Jesus did not exist before He was conceived. Jesus always has existed - When Jesus was conceived, He became a human being in addition to being God.
Jesus is both God and man. Jesus has always been God, but he did not become a human being until he was conceived in Mary. Jesus became a human being so that he could identify with us in our struggles and, more importantly, so that He could die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.

The fact that the old testament was not inspired scripture is the ONE big stumbling block that is keeping ALL christians in the dark. The god of the o.t. is evil, not holy, open your eyes and ears.

Jesus fulfilled the law.
If I ever buy a slave girl I promise not to beat her unconscious.
May the Lord richly bless you on your quest.

>>Jesus said you can beat women with a rod till they are unconscious?<<
No, He didn't. Didn't you notice that the word "unconscious" doesn't appear in the verse?

"Do Christians believe Jesus is the GOD of the OT?"
Christ did not, nor do his actual followers. For a Scriptural discussion explaining & showing the evidence why, please see:
