A good teacher will tell you that we are all different in the way we excel in learning. It's the way are brains are designed, each one is unique in it's ability and methods of learning.
For some people TV is a better learning tool because they have whats called a photographic memory. For others Books may be better because their considered "right brain". What should be asked is what's the best method for you. There are many ways and methods to educate someone. For example; For a person who is left handed, if an instructor stays to the right side of that person while giving instruction, that person is 70 to 80 percent more likely to learn form what is being taught.
Find what's best for you. If you have a problem finding your niche in learning, ask a teacher or other professional in education or physiology for help.
Good question.

Well, I own a bookstore, so I'm biased :o) BUT...I would have to say the Internet is the fastest way to obtain valuable information on just about anything and everything. But I tend to use all three. It's a real bummer though, somehow I can't take the terminal of my computer to bed with me and read, can I?

It's different for everyone, but I like books. And don't go thinking you can learn anything from TV. Even the Discovery channel and that stuff is just "infotainment."

Reading and going places. Internet is third. Television is informative when you watch PBS, the news, or learning channels.

TV, you don't really learn THAT much from going on a trip and the other 2 involve too much reading.
