I agree with what you said,Marciano was a natural and tough fighter who would have knocked Chuck clean out,UFC fighters are not in the same class as pro-boxers.

Wow you people are ridiculous. Chuck is an MMA fighter, why would he try to box with a boxer? What you morons don't get is that in MMA you can take your opponents down and out of there element. You can also kick, knee, and elbow. In an MMA match Chuck would take Rocky straight down, he wouldn't try to box with him obviously. Once he got him to the ground he would either submit him or TKO him, as Rocky had no ground skills. Learn something before you make these ridiculous matchups and assumptions.
Oh and Steven, I bet your report got an F, as none of the stuff you said was accurate. Marciano was 49-0, and had 43 KO's. Also, when the ref stops a fight, it is called a TKO, and counts for a KO. You don't know anything about what you're talking about. He wasn't even the best HW ever, and was at best a top 15 pound-for-pound boxer.

Well I agree with you, however its difficult to take people out of their sport. It would be like taking two fish out of two different oceans, putting them in a lake, and telling them to fight. UFC and boxing are completely different. UFC tends to be more efficient fighters, they wait, and capitalize on an opening; while boxers tend to make an opening then capitalize. I also think Chuck Lidell is a great fighter, his takedown defense is great, combined with his striking, he's a great fighter. Plus Lidell has a punch that most fighters normally never see coming because its so unconventional.
With all that said, you shouldn't say UFC is a joke, it has its flaws, and so does boxing.

The only way Marciano would win is if either of the Klitschkos make a mistake and Rocky could hit him with his overhand right. Otherwise, he would get abused until gets stopped, most likely by the referee. He'd be 1-2'd all night long.

Marciano is by my opinion pound for pound the greatest fighter ever.I did a book report on him in high school and the book I read,I believe was called the "Rock" it has been 30 yrs but I am pretty sure that was it,anyway that man trained bare knuckle,he never lost a fight and KO'd everyone but 1 guy that was just hard headed but still beat him half to death ,the guys brother threw the towel in .Something like 59-0.Undefeated is a true champ not a 4 time champ.

Chuck Liddell DEFINITELY, a boxer have nothing to do against a mix martial artist, the mma fighter can destroy a boxer with a submission of BJJ, or with a high kick by kick boxing or take him down and hurt him with a combination of wrestling and elbows, not even ALI would have the chance to beat a mix martial artist

You're obviously a boxer as your last how many questions were questions about boxers peens? Fact of the matter is, chuck would kick the boxers legs and it'd hurt so bad he'd drop his hands to block his next leg kick and OOPS his leg would snap up, catch him in the face and knock him the hell out. Boxers can't defend kicks, he would try to block with his hands and end up getting hurt. I hope mayweather fights Gomi, that'd be funny. Not only can they not defend kicks, but they can't defend takedowns. Once down, they're done. I'd bet my house that chuck (not chcuk) would win by knockout in the first round.

All Chuck has to do is take Rocky to the ground and start beating his face in. Why would Chuck even bother boxing with him when it's as simple as that? I doubt Rocky had a good sprawl or defense against the ground game.
Liddell wins by tko or maybe even submission
Thank you come again

Liddell is thriving on his superior striking skills in a realm where well-rounded fighting skills are the point. Would Marciano knock out Liddell in a boxing match? Of course. Liddell is not a great boxer. Liddell however is an accomplished wrestler and kickboxer. Liddell would win in a MMA match.
