I don't know about paraffin???? I use Vaseline on my cat. Just put some on it's paw. It will lick it off. You can't overdose a cat on Vaseline. Use some on it every day for at least a week. It is wonderful for getting rid of hair balls.

Liquid paraffin is used for constipation not hairballs!

Please don't self-medicate your cat. You can find the appropriate medication for hairballs at your vets, and they can also advise you on a special hairball diet if this is a particular problem. It's also worth talking to the vet about your cat's weight - 7 kilos is extremely heavy, even big cats shouldn't weigh more than 5kg. The excessive weight won't be helping your cat's health.

You should go to a vet and then pick a medication accordingly. Do not medicate yourself or your pets on your own, it may cause complications. If it is not a serious hairball problem (occasional one) try hairball remedy treats available at pet stores.
