Why, when you express your thoughts on how down you feel, almost every one recites verses from their bible and quotes religious phrases as if this will change your entire thought process. What ever happened to the old sayings, such as, Chin up old boy or tomorrow will be a better day or visit a child cancer ward and tell me things are still tough for you!

Bible verses have deeper meanings. They may not change everything, but does the old sayings do? Read some Bible verses when you're feeling down, I hope you'll find comfort with God's word. "This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!" Good day
