I PREFERE THE FUSION /

I own the Fusion and my best friend owns a Matrix. I've driven his car on a trip. It's nowhere near as roomy as the Fusion. In fact, I found the driver's space too narrow. My legs kept banging the door and center console. The Fusion is very roomy front and back, and has a nice big trunk.

So far I am very impressed with the quality of design and workmanship on the Fusion. I've had mine for a little less than a month and I have found no flaws whatsoever. The fit and finish are excellent.

Consumer Reports April issue gave the 2007 Fusion their highest ratings on predicted reliability and safety. So don't discount it as inferior to the Toyota.

It's obvious where my vote goes, but if you drive it and feel it fits you well, the Toyota Matrix is an excellent car too. The Toyota definitely will score better on gas mileage.

fusion is nice but matrix is reliable, higher resale, trade-in value. spend the extra bucks and get it loaded, you'll have a nice car with market demand when you sell it! if you're female, the trips to the service garage will be less and the warranty will cover it, doesnt matter if they jerk you around, the mfgr will pay the dealer not you.

Fix Or Repair Daily.......................FORD!
