Time for a family meeting, everyone included. I suspect he does have something to cry about and the rest of you just choose to ignore the problem or don't care. His way of handling the situation isn't proper, but there is a problem or this would not continue to happen. Figure it out - together. Everyone deserves to be happy and that may mean small changes on every ones part to make the overall good.

Teach them a sharp lesson in life....communicate with the rest of your family about what it is that is bothering you with a family member. All of you need to agree to ignore their winges and tell them to stop keep moaning and snap out of it. Remind them that they are better off than most and have a good family. The sooner you start taking no notice of their protests, the sooner they will realise that it is not getting them anywhere and they will stop!!!!

He's drinking the good stuff!

Wait until he is sober, take him to his families house and drop him off with his drink. In a couple of hours he'll be drunk and he'll call you to come and save him.

See! Then you can live happily ever after..... with a drunk.

smile and nod... doesn't mean your listening.. then when he is sober sit him down and talk to him.. explaining that if there really is something you can help him with your more than willing to help but if hes just after attention then he should look else where! and maybe he needs help with the drink!

good luck

Tell him that if he doesn't stop calling for every little thing, you are going to start ignoring his cries for help. Tell him that one day he is really going to need help, and no one will believe him. Tell him that if he can't handle the drink, quit drinking. Tell him that you are tired of his drunken foolishness.
