Strangely, my toilet won't flush it down, and it's been in there since about 7 hours now.

Gross! Yes I would try a plunger. Make sure you wash your hands after fixing it. Good luck with poop problem!

eventually it will disolve a bit and you will have a big bowl of poo-water. A wad of toilet paper on top might help push it down, but on the other hand it might block your toilet. Try poking it with a stick to break it up a bit more....

Try a bucket of water, from your sink or tub and pour it in the toilet...it has worked for me before.

it will smell real bad and you may get maggots in it.....you should get some water and put it in the back of your toilet to try to flush it down.

The Health Dept. pays you a visit in the middle of the night, shines a bright light on you house, calls out through a bullhorn, "WE HAVE YOUR HOUSE SURROUNDED..." - & suggests you get a more efficient toilet! :)
