My friend, what is your definition of "Christian" I ask because many think it is anyone who believes that Jesus died for the sins of the world, but that does not make one a Christian. Read the link below to find out how to BE a Christian.

Once that is established, make sure you read God's word each day and talk to Him just as you and I would talk. Tell Him about your concerns, your cares just as you would be telling your best friend. Do not worry about the style....we do not need the thees and the thous.

The second link is about prayer and why many do not have prayers answered

That is OK. I assume that you mean that you do not feel the presence of God. Most do not. That is OK. Some people who are more susceptible to psychic right brain sort of experiences may 'feel' the presence of God from time to time. But the Spiritual Masters of the Church tell us that we should not seek after such experiences. It is not having the experience that is important. What is important is that you open you heart to the Spirit of God working within you. Allow the Holy Spirit to transform you more and more each day into the image of Christ so that you make seek and server Him in all the people that you meet.

You do this by prayer, reading the bible, going to church, being with other Christian, etc.

I remember feeling the same way once , i don;t know where i found this information that helped me but maybe it can help you , its kind of an informal format to follow when you pray.
First you glorify him , our father , like the lords prayer starts , praiseing him . Then you might just talk to him even tho he knows your heart he still desires us to talk to him , ask for understanding and ask him to come into your heart and give you faith , then don;t forget to thank him for all your blessings and try and name as many as you can , that sometimes puts things in proper prospective , really he just desires you to have a personal relationship with him and to do the best you can to grow as a christian, and to share the good word , these are hard times , just never give up hes always there .

What's your definition of spiritual communication? Do you think it's feelings? State of mind? Communicating with God is as easy as talking with an open heart to your best friend. He listens lovingly without making faces like humans tend to do when you pour your heart out. God doesn't depend on your emotions. In your walk with God you sometimes may feel nothing. We are not called to live by feeling but by faith. I guess God knew how feelings can mislead us sometimes (many times if we don't make the effort to be self disciplined).

Are you reading your Bible--a little each day? Do you pray for holy spirit to help you understand?? When you say you are a Christian, do you mean you are trying to walk in Jesus' footsteps or that you attend meetings at a Christian church? Daily Bible reading, prayer and close association with others who love God and are trying to do his will to the best of their ability are all keys to a close relationship with God. May all your efforts be blessed in this regard.

Dear one, please let me offer a few ways to end this problem.

1. Check carefully your relationship with God. It must be through your distinct and heart-felt belief that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. It must be through your distinct belief that Christ rose from the dead and now sits at the right side of His Father in Heaven.

2. Read your Bible daily. Spend time reading and concentrating on what it is saying.

3. Spend time in prayer with Him. Don't spend all the time talking. Allow Him time to speak to your heart.

4. Resolve any unforgiven sin with Him. The farther you have pulled away from the Father because of sin, the harder it is to hear His voice.

I hope that these have helped. I will be praying for you.

I don't get what you mean. What is keeping you from praying to God or reading the Bible? These are the primary means of communication with God. He also speaks to our soul inside and often to us through other believers.

If you are expecting an audible voice from heaven, you may be waiting a long time.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by spiritual communication. If you mean the Lord talks to you He speaks to you through your conscience, and through that "gut feeling" you sometimes get in situations. It's a still small voice He speaks in it's not a booming voice like one human would speak to another. That's why we have to pray and get into our "quiet place" so that we can hear that still small voice and obey it.

Keep your mind open and keep on praying until you feel that you have spiritual communication with Him. I done it for years until a month before my marriage was doomed, i was very upset what going on and i went to one of those christian church sobbing and crying. have no one talk to until I felt inner peace and that I wasn't all alone. I remember I swore to my family that i heard a Voice saying to me "Walk with Me and tell Me your problem and I will kiss them all away."
I was shocked. But I listened to that Voice and all... I ask a preacher of that church was anyone experice that way before. I think there were some do can do that. but... all i can say keep on praying and keep mind open...

Oh, but you do. All you need to do as a believer, is just talk with God. He wants to hear from you. He loves you so much. This is the way all of us become close to Him. Just talk to Him. Tell Him how much you thank Him for His blessings, tell Him how you feel when you are happy or low, ask Him for your needs and desires. He is always close. God bless.
