We all know the AK47 is the most easiest auto-gun to use. I mean a 10 year old can pick it up, c0ck it and start shooting. A retarded person can even reload it cause its so frickin easy. Question is. What is the best handgun to use for urban use overall. Like the easiest to use with the best quality. Another question... Why do most people use glocks?

these are the only guns i trust in my family's lives..
Glock 19 9mm accurate reliable 9mm hi cap mags tactical drop mags(means they drop out for easy reloading) I think plastic is a plus plus there are a lot of configurations for your Glock sights adjustable and so on.

Beretta 92fs (m9) solid 9mm hi cap mags TAC DROP

Cz-75 in 9mm about the same as above

FN 5.7 the ultimate combat pistol in my estimation shoots the fast LOW RECOIL 5.7 HIGH PENETRATION rounds and long distance accuracy.. even the hollow points are very penetrable. With low recoil and high penetration (plus a 20 round mag) you put this gun in hands of a unskilled user they will have the ability for faster follow up shots and engage multiple targets easy. You will have a Problem! You put one of these in a skilled combatant. You will have a serious problem.... If you engage someone with this handgun in there hand you should treat them as they were armed with a rifle. And take cover.

If you think the AK47 is so easy to pickup, shoot and reload, why would you consider choosing anything else? If you like the AK47 so much, go ahead and buy one. See if the reality is as easy as you imagine. As for "urban use," that could mean anything from ambushing American troops in Iraq, to a concealed carry pistol, to keeping a gun for home defense in an apartment building. People, including a huge number of American police departments, choose Glocks becaues they are easy to use, rugged reliable and affordable--kind of like an AK47.

I carry a Springfield 1911 45 cal. It's a good all around weapon, very accurate. A lot of people use glocks because they are very low maintenance. My friend carries one for his duty weapon and he's never had a problem with it and he rarely cleans it or does anything to it for that matter. Not smart, but whatever works. If I were going to carry a glock I think I'd go with the model 22 40 cal. with a high capacity magazine. Nothing at all wrong with them. I just prefer the 1911, I think it's more accurate and it just feels better in my opinion.

I am a fan of the 45, however most people prefer a 9 mm.As far as the Glock I reckon it is due to the ease of handling

Define "sensible". I think the US has very sensible gun control laws. All they need to do is enforce the laws. A gun is nothing more than a tool, just like a hammer, baseball bat, tire iron, or kitchen knife. In the hands of responsible, law abiding citizens (which is about 99.9% of gun owners), it is a very effective tool for defending yourself and your family from harm. But, unlike all the other tools out there, people jump on the guns as a problem when the 0.1% of gun owners are irresponsible, whether this is leaving them out where kids can get a hold of them, or using them for a mass shooting somewhere (which if you ever notice, is rarely done anywhere but a "gun-free zone"). If someone was to take a baseball bat to an elementary school and start bashing the heads of 1st graders, people will talk about what is wrong with that person, and to help other like him get the treatment they need to prevent such tragedy. But if he goes in with a gun and shoots the kids instead, it's the guns that are to blame, and people want to ban guns to keep this from happening again. *EDIT* - Ignore Daniel. He thinks that the government will protect you from all the bad guys out there, and if you call "time out" the bad guys have to stop and wait for the police to show up.

First, let me say I love the 1911 .45 ACP and i own several. But for ease of operation, simplicity, safety and knockdown power I have to go with a good .44 special revolver like the Charter Arms Bulldog. It only holds 5 rounds but if you need more than that you're pretty much screwed anyway.

A .357 six shooter.

A handgun with similar ease of operation.
Almost as reliable as a hammer.
What's a glock?

Glock: User friendly, reliable, low-maintenance, accurate, high cap, wide range of sizes & calibers.

Easiest to use? Revolver. Next, Glock in your choice of caliber.

I've shot through trees with the AK and agree they are very easy to use.I like the 357 mag so far I hear alot of talk on Q&A's about the desert eagle and the 380's don't know anything about them and will try one out to see what the hipe is so this is my best answer.
