I don't see the difference between Having a girlfriend and a girl who you date. What benefit do you get if you have a girlfriend. Please no joke.

the term "girlfriend" means you are exclusive with her. there could be multiple girls that you date if you do not have an exclusive girlfriend.

well its all in the person that is saying it i guss! a g/f is a way to say ur not just Friends....but some gurls have guy Friends that they get freaky with but dont want to be commit ed or regular i guess the only thing u can do is try and make it more clear some people want more than one g/f and they consider that dating having a few to look at one time to make the best choice... and others think that is just dateing and not having a g/f but than that would b a feaunse (how ever u spell that) a futer wife u know what i mean...thats the problem with our language in this subject i know it is confusing i dont have a stright answer cuss their is not one but at the same time that answers it i hope

Some one you can talk to and confide in. I don't see a difference either really. I suppose that a boyfriend and girlfriend are more close. If you go out and don't feel anything. Well... that means your going out...But if you like them and they back that's when it turns into a boyfriend/girlfriend situation.

A girlfriend is a person your dating who you've asked out usually resulting in an exclusive relationship(She can only date you and vice versa) Dating is just dating.

honestly. i dont see a difference. i guess haveing a girlfriend is like saying i am taken. and when someone puts the moves on you. all you have to do is say you have a girlfriend/boyfriend. and they back off. but i guess it also shows that two people like/love each other. but dont/too young to get married.

Girlfriend- you date, kiss, have sex,and express your anger.
Girl - you chat, laugh,control your emotions.
If you had a girlfriend, she will show you how much she cares, and loves you. you can tell her your deepest secret, and she doesn't mind who really are.
But to a girl, you must have distance in every thing you do, or else you'll get a slapped on your face.
