cuz they are absorbing so much information on a daily basis and try to put a sentence together and use words they think fit the sentence but it comes out too cute or leaves you in awe laughing thinking oh my goodness, where did that comment come from? tis the way of life for the wee ones* lol

I don't know but sometimes it is so funny. My oldest was about 2 and his dad had left me for another woman so he coming and getting our son the weekends. One sunday after getting dropped off with me, I got him ready to go to the store and as we got in the car he jumped into the drivers seat and said he wanted to push the dumb@ss as he honked the horn. His father was always cussing about other drivers on the road and my son thought the horn was called a dumb@ss.

I guess they just learn what they live or see it.

I don't know but it can be hilarious! It was Easter and I told my daughter that I did not remember getting as much as she did from the Easter Bunny, and she said that is because it was in the olden days...I asked her how old she thought I was...I am 25 and she is 7...it was to cute!

my daughter is the class clown at 6 yrs old. alot of kids have very vivid imaginations and that is where most of it comes from. or from hearing others say things.

Because they don't know some of the *honest* things they say can be embarrassing or even possibly misunderstood. they are just speaking the truth and don't know what should be avoided.

Because they are in a state of mind in which they are learning and trying to understand... Their brain is like a sponge, esp. at 2yrs old.

Because they are thinking with their Amygdala, instead of the prefrontal cortext part of the brain. The Amygdala makes them say and do things without thinking about it or realising its wrong. Can I have ten points please?!
