God’s elect, they fought and will fight against Satan. They are; justified, predestinated, called, chosen, and faithful.

First of all from some of the answers I have to say that the stars represented the original group of angels. Revelations say that a third of them followed after Satan. The rest are still in the service of God.

We have no idea how many they were, but we do know the number is immense as the grains of sand upon the seashore. The heavenly hosts are numbered only to God because they comprise all of mankind and not just those coming to Earth.
